changing start up cash for new players

can anyone tell me how to change the start up cash that new players receive when starting a new character? All help appreciated. Thanx.

Server?
Single player?

I made a server admin mod that does this, kinda. The open jumpholes requires a wipe of player files if you wish to acheive this change, otherwise all the rest works.

Downloads section, search for admins mod i think... can' remember

Try this:
Go to Freelancer\DATA\CHARACTERS,find there newcharacter.ini,there find:

[Pilot
nickname = trent
body = trent
comm = trent
voice = trent_voice
body.anim = Sc_MLBODY_STND_000LV_A_31
thumb = interface\intro\objects\MULTI_blackdragonmale.3db
comm.anim = Sc_comm_body_unfold_female, Sc_headCOM

[Package
nickname = ge_fighter
strid_name = 11051
strid_desc = 11551
ship = ge_fighter
loadout = MP_ge_fighter
money = 2000 <-- guess you need this.

[Faction
nickname = new_player <-- maybe Chips can tell what it exactly means????????????
rep_group = br_n_grp <-- does nothing 'till editing mpnecharacter in EXE folder
base = St01_01_Base <-- base you start in
Package = ge_fighter
Pilot = trent

But I think this has to be done not only server-side.
