Renameing Weapon Classes???

hello there,

can somebody give me a hint in what .ini include ids_names or infos for weaponclasses, so that i can simply let the modmanager change these strings by ids_name = 0 ;GENERATESTRRES("Military Class" or what ever i else need?

if there is no .ini that describe weaponclasses, can someone plz say what idstrings in what .dll to edit , and how i do replace idstrings with the FLMM 1.3.1?

1. weapon_equip.ini <---Change Class, Damage to hull/shield, fire rate, and energy usage
2. weapon_good.ini <---How much a weapon is sold for, and ammo if required.

that wasn't the question ^^ i like to change whats written in the slott when its free .. the text that tell the player what class can be mounted, actualy it says "Class 1or 2" even if no Class 1 can be mounted, that might confuse new players to my mod ...

how to change this stupid text?

For them you are going to need reshacker.exe and the resources.dll. If you just do a search for "turret" you'll find the strings in there.
Reshacker can be found here
You just make the changes, choose compile script from the button above, then save.
Make sure you move the modified dll to the mods folder afterwards as updating this dosen't change the "last modified date".

thats sad, that i have to deploy a full .dll-file within a fully in xml written mod, cant i tell te modmanager what ids in what dll to replace by a given text?
