God Mode - works in single player only (thank god).

Open PerfOptions.ini file located in "My Documents\My Games\Freelancer" folder and change the following line

DIFFICULTY_SCALE = 1.00

to

DIFFICULTY_SCALE = 0.00

Edit: The only things that can kill you are running into a planet or sun. You can even fly through radiation, minefields, gas pockets, atmosphere, and the sun's corona, etc...only actually crashing into a planet or sun will kill you.

What if you make it a negitave number, does enemy fire heal you?

dooode..be soo funy if it did heal u...hmmm.gotta try it..

But if you can't be damaged in the first place how do you know if you're being healed?

What happens if you change the number to say, 5?

zamboni, if my guess is right, u take more damage per shot by enemies... or shud i say, ur ship's defense is decreased, so easier to commit suicide or got urself blown up by lousy ships (starflier shoot down Sabre? LOL)

change it to 999999999. eek!

If you do that even a tiny little piece of debris could mean your end

lol..those little asteriods that u shoot up for mining...i was cruising and boom..gone..dead..shoot, i gotta lower the difficulty lvl
