Barricuda or Dragon in kyushu??? please help!!!

im to the part of the game where i just got to planet Kyushu, and ive found 2 heavy fighters (the kind of chassis i like), the dragon and the barucuda. which one is better? their stats are very very similar...the only difference i see is the barricuda has 5 more cargo space, but the two ships cost the same amount of money!!! which one is better?

Get the Dragon. With the Barricuda, you can get your wings shot off and lose the guns that were mounted on them.

The Barricuda also carries torpetos.

Not much difference between the two ships. I've flown both, and I must say for me the dragon would be a keeper. It's got the looks and the maneuverability. I would say that the 5 cargospace you loose is worth it. And as was said above loosing the wings holding your favorite level 6 guns always puts a damper on the feeling of having fought your way out of a corsair-ambush.

The Barricuda also carries torpetos.

Most ships ( heavy fighter class ) have a slot for cruise disruptor/torpedo. Both ships can do this. The main difference is if you get into a REAL bind, the Barr loses its wings and takes your guns with it. The Dragon loses its tailfins.

hmmm, i ate dragons with cudas... that extra 5 cargo with the cuda was worth it. i would always recommend the 'cuda, just keep your sb and nb up when you leave a ase and you will be fine. used the 'cuda for the noibium/diamond run and got to my bigger boats just fine.

I've had nice guns and watched them get blown off to my dismay! The five cargo space you lose is worth it, because you aren't normally trading with a fighter of that class.

dragon dragon !!!< coz the next few missions, there will be plenty of dragons

so you will look better flying a dragon with other dragons, like a formation flying

What's a good weapons layout for the Dragon? Optimal weapons for damage while not draining all your power in a few seconds?
