Befriending the monkeys?

Is there any way to get the monkeys to sell ship eq? My game crashes everytime I launch from the planet for some reason, and so when I reload the game I'm a sitting duck surrounded by nomads. I only have 1 shield battery left and can't get anywhere!

i wanna know too... but apparently they arent even a faction, so no go..unless they release some expansion with monkeys as a faction enabled, if not then its totally a no go

But with one shield battery you should still be able to survive ...unless you are hostile with the corsairs...if thats the case...then i wish you all the luck

if ure not hostile with the corsairs, then all you do is run run run run run

Just use your cruise engines. The Nomads don't even have cruise disruptors, so they can't do anything to catch you if you decide to run away.

u can sell ship equip there, but till now they dont sell anything in my game.

If you are really stuck, find the trainer and use the shields cheat till you get to a point where you can save the game so you do not need to start over.

DO NOT save your game with the shields cheat/trainer on! It will bug you forever and you will always have invincible shields.

Though I guess if that's what you want...

I think that either the monkeys or the robots belonged to the Order when you hovered the mouse over them in the bar.. but then again my memory could be playing tricks on me

i think its possible befriending then monkeys.

first time i see primus, it was hostile to me (red)

second time, after doing some reputation changes on normal systems (randomly), it was neutral to me (white)

i think it could be possible to get them friendly (green) by doing something with reputations (?) in normal systems. But i dont know exactly what to do.

i wonder what i could buy or what missions the monkeys could give.
