Best trade routes thread
If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

my favorite route is
new berlin (planet new berlin) to sigma 13(junkers base - yagani) - diamonds you will do 300$ profit per a piece
then buy cardmine (or whatever that drug is called) and go back to new berlin and sell it with a 800$ profit
Your right, this is by far the best profit per time run I have seen yet

First off you start with the stupid scooter ship, do 3-4 missions killing rogues or whatsoever...
Then buy yourself a Rhino no guns to it nothing except shiled and maybe nano or shield stuff if u want to waste money on it.
Then travel to colorado if you die just start over and try to get to the next station and don't waste batteries if you don't know u'll make it.
After colorado it will be a little harder take one of the two systems and then go to the shi***u system i think it's there are NO ENEMYS at all, the only problem u'll have is to get there but it isn't impossible...
Anyway then head for New Tokyo and the space station outside it and buy luxuary consumer goods sell all you're nanobots even your shield you won't need it. Head for the hokkaido system and the Ainu Depot owned by GC in sector C6 there you dock with it and sell you're luxuary consumer goods making 600 earnings each for just one system jump and well 30k cruise won't take long at all... and nothing dangerous
Then you buy Cardamine and head back the same way to the station outside New Tokyo and sell em earning 400 a piece or something i think it was. Then after maybe 2 rounds u'll be rich and able to buy the drone freighter on New Tokyo and then continue the trading in maybe 2 hours u'll have a million credits if you are fast and no chance of even dying
That is my tip of trading...

Welll the biggest bug happenned to me last night. Last night me and my friend decided it was best for him to host the server. So instead of starting from scratch, I ziped the dir where all the accounts were on my pc and sent it to him. He unziped it in the multiplayer dir and I connected to his server. Once we are both in the game I start to look for a trade route we could do on the info i had in game. So i start looking at my relationship with other factions, to know who would bother us. All my relations are neutral. No one likes me or hates me. lol man we just loaded up with all we could and did the run from houston to denver to make about 100000. Then I set our cap on nagellan system to go get ourselves some dromedarys. From that base i loaded up in artifacts and went all the way back to manhattan to make only 352,000$ in profit
This is not a cheat but a bug. Its funny that no one cares about u. The only thing is that almost every system I would have some idiot ask me to drop my cargo. I would just dock in the station and they woiuld forget about me. It gave me the chance to ad about 25 stations and planets to my book. So tonight ill go around all visitable systems empty and have a complete map lol.
But i wont keep it neutral for long. Just long enough to make 500,000,000 then ill buy a eagle and go kill some nomads for there weapons.

my fav while i was building up was:
new tokyo to the ring - noibium
ring down onto new berlin - nothing
new berlin to new tokyo - daimonds
after incidentals (when you start the run with just a dragon or a 'cuda, you will have incidentals) about 2k profit x loadsize per run... better if you are already neutral or better with the corsairs, outcasts, hessians and/or unioners.
added: i might note that i got bored with really short "profit only" runs early on and prefer at least some excitement along the way... i found getting jumped by as many as 6 in sigma 13 (and sometime on all three lanes) to about fit the bill for breaking the boredom.
there are some nicer (and shorter) runs in the outer rim, but i am still enjoying working the kinks out there, so more later...

I tried the cardamine run from Mactan to Manhattan, and maybe the devs. wanted to have some fun, I don't know, but when I take off, everybody thinks I'm public enemy number one, even though I'm fwiendwy with the LSF! And then when i finally reach Mactan, they hate me too! That's t3h sux0r!

Hi!
Just wanted to let you know that I've just finished the first beta-version of my online application which will help all of you traders out there...
Just to list a couple of features...
Select any or all systems or bases as start point
Select any or all systems or bases as end point
Select any or all commodities
The app will calculate all possible routes with the most profit.
You even have the option the enter your enemies, and the app will mark any dangerous routes.
And this is just the beta version...
Later I will add the possibility to save routes to a list, and show total profit on a round trip. I will also add the option to show bases, systems, and perhaps even routes dynamically on map.
The system is built on a 2MB threaded database, which I build with the great help of the people behind Lancers Reactor. The app is fully ready for mods. New systems, bases or commodities can easily be added to the system.
Well.. the app should be up and running in a few days... Just waiting for my SQL Server 2000 login details from my host.

The only problem i see with this app is that it doesn't take into account the length of time it takes to run the best runs. I can make a hell of a lot more running engine components to Yagani Base from New Berlin and Artifacts on the way back. I made over 2,000,000 in less than 30 min.
