Best trade routes thread

If there's already a continuous thread for this, I apologize, but I didn't see one already. I'm hoping this will grow.

I just finished the sp yesterday using heavy fighters all the way, so the whole freighter/turret-view deal is still fresh and new to me.

So far, here's the most economical (both time and $) trade route ive found is:

1) Pick up Boron in New York (Pittsburgh has it for 120, or if you're really lazy and want to shave off 5 waypoints get it for 155 at Manhattan)
2) Take the New-York to Magellan Jumphole (fight for a couple minutes, ally status depending)
3) Magellan to Leeds Jumphole
4) LD-14 commodities broker buys it for 960 or so
5) fill up there at LD-14 on ship parts ($80 I think)
6) Goto Kensington Station in New London system (adjacent system), sell the parts for 160 a pop then fill up Cargo with beryllium (290 I think).
7) Go back to Leeds then get in the jumphole--magellan. Then retrace your route back to New york.

Dock at Newark station and sell Berylium for $960 or so
9) Next door is Manhattan

This whole round trip only takes about 30 mins but pulls in like $500,000 (in a humpback). Its the first real "round trip" route I've found, but like I said just started on the whole trading aspect of the game.

The best rout I found is from Planet Manhattan, New York System to Kyushu, Kyushu System carring Luxery Consumer goods. Then go over to Planet New Tokyo, New Tokyo System and pick up Engine Components. Now you can either go to Freeport 4 or Mactan Base(must be freindly with Hackers) in Magellen or you can go to Planet Cambridge, Cambridge. Freeport 4 buys engine components for more than Planet Cambridge but you can run Luxury food from Cambridge to Manhattan and do the whole thing over again. You can make about $710,600 if you go through Cambridge, depending on how much of the luxury food decays. You can make $483,750 by going to Freeport 4, and $502,250 by going to Mactan. Going to Cambridge in my opinion is the best way. Also this run isn't that dangerous. You can do it in about 50-60 min.

also does anyone know where the cheapest price for Alien Organisms. If I can find it for &100 I can make $1900 profit of of it.

Get a Dromedary at Mactan Base in Magellan and fill it up with Cardamine. Head to Planet Manhattan in New York two system jumps away and sell it all. Make a huge sum of money, rinse and repeat.

Cardamine is an illegal drug and you'll probably be busted if you freight it

The best route I found is Gold from Mactan base to Planet New tokyo, and Engine components from Planet NT to Mactan base. Takes about 25 minutes, and using a Dromedary, you'll earn almost 500k per run. You can buy a dromedary at Mactan. You can stop by more places for a slightly increased profit, but I didn't think it was worth it for a few extra thousand credits. You'll make about 1700 creds x #of space in Cargo hold. Someone thought that a diamond run from New Berlin, I think it was, to New Tokyo (Planets) was very profitable. I can't remember the details, though.

i call this my "newbie route" since i can usually pull it off pretty low

pick up boron in los angeles and take it to sheffield station in manchester. run to kensington shipping platform in new london and grab a load of beryllium

btw krapylet I did a diamond run last night from a city in Dresden (forget which--im at work now) where i picked up diamonds for about 290 and then sold them at New Tokyo station for 1600. Had to fight a bit around Sigma 13 -- corsairs I think

On my main rout, if you go to Honchu instead of New Tokyo, you can make about $33,000 more but it adds like 15 min to the trip.

my favorite route is
new berlin (planet new berlin) to sigma 13(junkers base - yagani) - diamonds you will do 300$ profit per a piece
then buy cardmine (or whatever that drug is called) and go back to new berlin and sell it with a 800$ profit

now al you guys think hey you dont do the max profit youre right but i do the most profit per time!!
the sigma 13 jump hole is half a trade route away from new berlin!!!
so each run takes you about 5min even less if you dont get attacked!!

beat that!!!
did it with the humpback and one run gave me about 250K

all the other trade routes that are published are very long !! 30min at least and only 500K$ if you do my route you will get about twice of that in that time!!

If I resume this. I buy Luxery Consumer in manhattan and go sell it in Kyushu, Kyushu System. Then I dont buy nothing and go to New tokyo and buy Engine Components and I go sell it at Cambridge. Then I pick up Luxury food and go back to manhattan to sell it. and start it all over again. Right?
