How did you find that out Lorek? I don't remember them ever saying in the game unless I just missed it.

There is a wreckage of a space station in sigma 17 but appart from that I never heard any mentioning of FP7 being in sigma 17. I assumed that was FP7 but I never got that confirmed. So if someone knows for sure let us know please.

I think FP7 had it's own system, because there is a folder in the data directory called FP7. Could be in Sigma though.

I think the system Freeport 7 was in had 3 stars. I know one of the sigma systems has 3 stars of the same color and everything. Not sure if its Sigma 17 though. Hopefully that helps.

I've started playing through SP a second time, and writing down stuff from newspapers, rumours etc that I wish I'd written down the first time around - I found out Freeport 7 was in the Sigma-17 sector from a newspaper article as far as I can remember - something I pretty much ignored the first time around. I'll have a look for it tonight, since I haven't advanced much further since I found it.

i thought it was near the jewsey debries. hrm......cause when i saw fp7 being owned it looked sorta like it was near that area....

OK - I went back to an old saved game and checked it out - read this news story on Pittsburgh right after you finish the first mission with King and get to go about on your own for a bit

Reaction to FP7 Investigation

Other voices in Sirius have begun to question Liberty's move to place military forces in what has always been an apolitical, neutral zone. Some have said that this investigation should be an open, pan-colonial undertaking and that the stationing of military forces in Sigma-17 violates charter settlement agreements between the Houses and other factions. To assuage these concerns, President Jacobi spoke, insisting that the recent movement of The Order required immediate action. She also stated that our forces were there to prevent further contamination of the area and to execute a thorough investigation -- nothing more. Jacobi went on to stress that our formal presence at the Freeport 9 site would be exclusive and temporary, and that the sum of the findings would be shared with all affected government agencies.

Maybe, since they had a begining movie, the full base is somewhere in the game, which would say where the thing was.

Ah so it was the FP7 I found in sigma 17. It's in E3 quadrant I think, right at the edge of the asteroid field.

you're all wrong and wright
they made an erxtra system FP7 in the system map
it has the same stars as the system the so called base wreck is in
i making custom sytems and found it i hazve placed a jump gate to it
but haven't visited yet
there are also a few nomad systems that normaly can't be visited i put a gate to there as well

(looked like microsoft planned ahead and put in some enemy nomad systems
