Been there done that...now what??

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

Been there done that...now what??

I finished SP
I am lvl 38
Been to every system afaik including the 2 unknown ones (even if there actually are more...it would be fun if there is actually something in them besides annoying little nomad mosquitoes...oh yeah the 2 easter egg planets but the novelty wears off pretty fast)
I have found all of the lvl 10 weapons listed, but the only ones worth using imho are the nomad blasters.. (rather fast and doesnt use energy)
I have more money than I can spend...not that there is anything worth spending it on...
Lately I havent even found a situation that can remove my shields (even when taking on 7-8 very/heavy fighters at the same time)

I guess there are a few minor things I can find...but I dont feel like scanning every sq inch of the universe to find it...

I take it no one has found any destroyable capital ships/stations yet? (Besides the ones in SP)

Any ideas on what to do or this is basically everything you can do?

Right now its getting boring camping outside a heavily defended planet/station taking on waves of fighters...

Has anyone explored every part of the unknown system with the heavy radiation dmg? Cus my nanos didnt last that long and I never refilled and went back

lev 38??? how long u play man? how long ago did you get the game? how u get it so fast?? over here in north america its coming out 2 days from now!!! where do you live?

Ah, I beat it too. 28 hours of playing, level 38, visited all the 52 systems, got the Titan, the guns, saw the Planet of the Apes.

Such a nice game.
Time to delete it and find something else...

There is no frickin way you've seen it all...not that fast..not without some sort of money cheating in the beginning. I'm not being accusatory, more along the lines of being realistic.

You have visited all the bases and mapped all the jump holes? Mwahaha... I'd love to see the F8 keystroke screenshot showing time and all the other stats to prove it...I really would and so would others.

...kids.... (rolls eyes)

Heh, visiting all the bases is not for me, just the systems is enough ;-P.
I don't use money cheats, just German Freighters ;-).

Nice game, as I said. Worth buying.

Stinger, try it. At 30 hours I'm at the same place as Rado907. No cheating at all, and I even beat the SP missions. Now of course I didn't land on every base I came across; once you've landed on one or two of each type you've seen them all. I know I've got all the systems, unless there's some really out of the way ones like 1,000,001 KM from the center of the New York system.

Still, 30 hours is GREAT for a game these days, and I'm not going to uninstall it just yet!

I'd still like to to have someone post the F8 screenie to prove it.

Maybe there are some scientiffically correct items you can explore

i can just offer you an 16 Hours Screenshot after the Plot Missions....

Post Sun Mar 02, 2003 1:30 pm

... anyway in less than 7 hours you can get over 30

then all you missed would be hidden jump holes or hidden bases, but apart omicron systems, who cares if you have missed the mollys station or any useless jump hole.

This game is way too easy and short =/

Post Sun Mar 02, 2003 1:32 pm

BlueTrin: If you want a too easy, to short game pay your hard earned money for Unreal 2 - you really want to kill somebody after that - 6 hours, that's it (than you saw everything... no reason to play it ever again, deinstall and put the game into the trashcan (or ebay))
