Obviously the longer the route the longer its going to take!

Finding the optimal trade routes for different parts of the system when you just need a few more credits. Making most of your time. Having an hour to play and wanting to visit the other side of the sector.. will you have time?

etc.

It will be very useful once it is done. It is a lot quicker going through some systems than others. Perhaps the fastest routes will be through portals and not the trade lanes?


As far as Discussion as opposed to spoilers, I think the inclusion of all systems would be considered a spoiler. Some people don't know that Omicron Alpha exists, or that it is ~20 minutes from New London, etc.

I guess but most times you wont be just hanging out in the same zone.

price list would be better cause you can just see what is closest to buy and sell

Combined with price lists, it won't be hard to figure out the absolute best trade routes. Price lists have already been compiled, so using them together will give some interesting results.

All times with no afterburner, but with cruse engines. Times given in seconds rounded to the nearest 5 seconds and + or - 5 seconds. Times given in minutes rounded to nearest .25 minutes and + or - .25 minutes.

TL =Trade Lane
JG = Jump Gate
PL = Planet
ST = Station (includes battleships/cruisers)

Leeds System

PL to Leeds - Edinburgh Gate TL: 15 seconds
Leeds - Edinburgh TL passage time: 45 seconds
Leeds - Edinburg TL to JG: 25 seconds
Total Time, PL Leeds - Edinburgh JG: 1.5 minutes

PL to Leeds - New London Gate TL: 25 seconds
Leeds - New London TL passage time: 25 seconds
Leeds - New London TL to JG: 30 seconds
Total Time, PL Leeds - New London JG: 1.25 minutes

PL to Leeds - Stokes TL: 25 seconds
Leeds - Stokes TL passage time: 30 seconds
Leeds - Stokes TL to ST: 10 seconds
Total Time, PL Leeds - Stokes ST: 1 minute

what would be even better is if you could provide a list of trade routes that we would then be able to chart for time... in time I may complete Leeds, and other systems, in the method I have done... but it can be quite time consuming considering much of the data may not be used
