This guide, based on the one accessable through the main page is a cross reference of ships and where to get them.
Hopefully this will stop the "Where can i buy (X) ship?" posts

EDIT: This guide now lists the factions that control the bases!!!!

LOL... heh remember guys, i don't have the game!!! this was all taken from the guide maintained here at TLR. i just took all the info and rearranged it to give a purchase guide.

Alas there were some ships not included in the guide. suchs as the anubis, the hawk, and the star flier. (but who would want to buy a star flier anyway

)

and yes, i figure this might change in the retail version.. and if so, i'll come back and update as much as possible. and maybe if the mods see an error/ommision, they will just edit my post and put it in

Well, you start with the Starflyer, so no one sells it. The Anubis is only in the single player story missions. Don't know about the Hawk, I thought they were sold somewhere, but I don't remember where

The Anubis is special...you will know why when you play the game...It can be purchased BUT not outside of the SP campaign as far I know... (cheap too BTW) ...I have found the hawk...I do not remember where, I'm sorry, but I have found it. It's a damn good ship for a civilian one. The sabre and titan are better. Technically the titan is the best...just don't loose your shields or you'll kiss its gigantic wings goodbye and all the guns on them. :-P

That's why I'm sticking with my sabre. I will go cruising and see if I can find the hawk again.. I think it might have been in the galileo system...but I'm not sure....probably not since that is technically liberty space. (half of it anyway...the trade lane switches to kusari ownership in the middle of the system.) I'll look though.

Found the Hawk on Planet Kyushu. I think it's like the Falcon in Rheinland, and it's sold on just about every large planet in Kusari, along with the Drake and the Drone. Dunno about other places.

The sabre is by far my favorite out of all the very heavy fighters it has some many great characteristics like the full 360 firing range with the turret
