I just bought a lvl 10 shield from omicron gamma (Crete). And it definitely wasn't a graviton...

The L10 shield from the corsair home world is a positron shield ...
that other shield is probably just hacked ...

where can you find level 7 gravitrons?

and is a level 7 gravitron better than a level 10 positron?

I have seen on one occasion a shield drop from combat, they are very rare and it was a low lvl shield, could be someone got lucky.

i'm not 100%sure on this but in my early playing i also remember picking up a shield of a destroyed ship.

hasent happend again.

and i dont think i have ever picked one up on multiplayer. (and i have played a lot)
