Once you get into manhatten space, engage your cruise engines, and do not disengage till you're ready to dock with planet manhatten, no traffic will spawn, which means no scans from the police.

The irony is you get scanned about 5 times after launching again from manhatten.

hey, this is my first post..........

anyway, i jsut got the game about 3 days ago, and so far i can only go around the New Yark system, is there anywhere there i can buy cheap cardamine?

if not cheap, is there somewhere i can buy cardamine?

Simple answer. There is nowhere you can BUY cheap cardamine in Manhattan.

But ... hint, hint, nudge, nudge ... look around in some remote parts of the system. Just watch out for bad guys!

I'll repeat something I've posted before.

Ways to make quick money in Freelancer:

1. Fly bounty missions.

2. Mine. (Shoot at scrap metal, asteroids etc with a single laser and see if they produced something useful.)

3. Look for wrecked ships in space!

i played for a little longer a few nights ago, and in able to go around leeds, cambridge and new london systems, iv found the.....trafalgar station, and bought some cardamine, but a new mission started just as i was leaving the station so i sold it at new london, i got some money, but not as much as i would get from manhattan, now I cant even get to the station without getting cut to ribbons by the corsairs, man, the brettonia ships look like fish, and are really shieza for flying and hunting.

A useful tip: just because Juni says she needs you for a mission, you don't have to drop everything and rush off. She will wait for you. You can explore, trade etc all you want. Quite decent not only of her, but also of the bad guys she wants you to chase after!
