A question about Gammu and Primus

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

A question about Gammu and Primus

hi there..
i've traveled the whole forum but i couldn't get an answer..

i became a little upset when on my first visit both on Gammu and Primus i discovered to be quite a star: "We've spoken before" "Nice to see you again" and so on..

what's happened?

Anyway i think i'll spend there some time for picking up some nomad cannons..

When I'm tired of hunting Bounty Hunters, I go shooting Red Hessians..

You might notice that the same thing happens when visiting Kyoto base in Chugoku. I'm fairly certain that at least one other base does the same, but I'm not entirely sure. Some bases just seem to be scripted to know who you are.

I always get a good chuckle when I see Gammu referenced... In the last half of the original Dune series by Frank Herbert, Gammu is the name of the former Harkonnen planet Geidi Prime. The entire Dune universe (save for Ix) is decidedly anti-technology, and having a planet named Gammu populated by robots is a bit ironic for a Dune fan like myself.

great! lol.

I read Dune three years ago, but I forget this: time to restart with this reading...

Nukelt, whenever someone writes about Primus here, i instantly start thinking Planet of the Apes

I think they're supposed to be a kind of a joke by the designers of FL.
