The PERFOPTIONS file is gone!

Hey folks .. I can't find my perfoptions.ini file. I did a sweep with the Find command, and searched in the directory, but there's no trace of it. I then did a search for the text GAME_DIFFICULTY or whatever it is, and it DID find that text ... but it was found within the .exe!

Has Digital Anvil removed the file and made it impossible to cheat?

Welcome to TLR

I would reinstall (Delete the Freelancer folder NOT unanstall!) the game to get it back.

You can save your save games if you want.

And next time you post somthing like this i "think" it belongs in the technical error fourum

read the Rules and Regs for more info

I would start the game up, and see if it appears after you have started a game again

I don't understand .. how do I check to see if the file is there without closing out of the game?
