Nice little spoiler

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

If you cruise really fast into planets, you won't die, you'll bounce off.

If you hit F3 to dock when you are close to a planet or station (less than 1200 meters), go to free flight, and immediately hit F3 again you can get some intersting docking glitches. I actually got trapped inside the airlock without the base authorizing me to dock so I couldn't enter the base but I couldn't get out either.

I've done that before. You can do it more easily at busy stations - just wait until something docks, and follow it in manually. Then you have to wait until something else docks there to get out again.

The object is an alien artifact, and I can say it's huge, I've just saw a pic of it .I don't think it has got anything to do with, only a lil' mystery that Microsoft left in the game... Who knows?

Oh by the way suns has no atmosphere!!!

I agree with silverarrow, Suns have coronas, not atmospheres.

The developers wanted (i'm guessing) this 'star' to have different characteristics from all the other stars, being that it's the only neutron star in FL. Why it has no gravity and doesn't suck the entire system in, I don't know. What I do know is that the 'star' is actually a planet (as far as its properties in the game), so thats why it has no atmosphere (as some planetoids in the game do). Its simply a black planet surrounded by an intense radiation belt.

I figure the unkown object in Tau 37 is a second sun. And for the alien artifact story, can u post a link? thanx.

The unknown object in Tau 37 is the object causing the rings. If you look, it's exactly at the centre of them. There was a thread about this a few months ago.
