not unmodded if you download FMM (Freelancer mod manager) it wll come with 2 mods were you can buy the nomad battleship and fighter

I really dont see why you would want a nomad ship they ae alot less then i wanted i was hoping for a metal ship liek areal ship not a Organic thing like that episode of ST voyager... but hey who am i to judge others

Oh, you can get Nomad weapons. Kill Nomads near the Unknown Jump Holes in Omi. Alpha and Gamma

There are a few mods that let you buy a nomad ship. Also you can purchase there weapons in other mods.........

The nomad ships are pretty slow though. you have no shield and you die pretty quickly.
