A sabre could do 5403 one shot. Unless it's a modded server, no hidden wrecks with nomad weapons. Your trade route isn't very effective, besides, saying 2 runs in deceptive since your trade route is also very long.

Honestly, who wants to be a trader? That has to be the most boring life you could possibly live in an FL game. They only thing freighters are good for is for me to intercept as I blast them, their escorts, and any nearby patrols to bits, and then steal their loot and dump it at the nearest station just to spite them. c'mon! 5 min! new berlin to tokyo is longer! and trading is much easiar and quicker than fighting.(esspecialy mine)

Just a guess, but I bet the second route's a hell of a lot shorter too. Hell, you could probably make more mining (there's a sweet little debris field near Dortmund, you can get dop doller for your scrap metal there). Or do drug running, Cardamine to Manhatten, food rations back to Malta, that's a life of adventure right there. --- VH16

What many of you guys are saying is very right. Adm. Myo's run IS the best one possible in FL 1.0. It is quick and profitable. I prefer getting the trading out of the way so I can buy a good ship and have fun. With the other run, sorry, but it is just too long. It takes you all over the place. The Berlin-Tokyo is definatly the best one for speed (takes 5 minutes) and price. (I think someone said it was 600,000+ in a Drom round trip)

i dunno why, but i nearly always find stilettos flying around right outside the ring, i bust them, pop back into the ring to sell the niobium they drop, which they nearly always do, even though their cargo hold shows empty. (must be what they're made of)

otherwise, for trade, i hardly do it nowadays, but anyways, i done one run, ring to jap region doing i dunno what, i think it was same as myo's.

Wtah I like to do is to blast Corsairs in my EAGLE. Usually they drop Niobium then take your full load to The Ring.
