Planet Pygar- Omicron Theta

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

Direct from FLxplorer:

Omicron Theta (1240656)
EDGE WORLDS

Settled Planets
Pygar (limited access)

Well, it could be a Zoner safe haven, or a military experimentation facility, but ill be damned if FL has a shield that can withstand constant particle bombardment at 800km/h
wait, thats 22.2 m/s, most FL shields can withstand a direct hit on an asteroid at 3000m/s, ive had one that withstood at 15000 (i think). But, if you get high enough, you just end up gong through the object before it registers an impact.
Personally, 800km/h winds may prevent surface HABITATION, but it couldnt prevent a skilled pilot from pulling off an undergound LANDING, hell the engines in FL push you at 4 times that speed.

Pygar problay has a few dig sites on it, like on Sprage...

I agree alot was left out of the game, probaly due to cut backs.. Maybe they will continue them in FL-2 or somthing

I've noticed it too, whenever you fly past Pygar and put your mouse over it, it says, "Planet Pygar, Zoners Base." Now, it only says that on a planet if there is a way onto the planet or base. However, I have looked all over that planet for a docking ring and I found none. When I looked at the infocard, it said that there were high winds and no permanent settlement had been established. It said nothing of the Zoners, and nothing that made me think it was habitable. Therefore, I have come to the conclusion that there is no base there and it was something that DA forgot to edit out in post-production.

Actually, remember that Pygar IS inhabited. When the survey team penetrated the crust (as was said in the storyline), they found nomads. So therefore, it is technically inhabited, and since the nomads hate humans, it would ironically qualify as 'limited access.'

memory slipping.. oh well. i think i remember the 'fart' saying something about sinclair finding the artifact on pygar and he had to see it, on the way to leeds.

maybe zoners is trying to make a base out of it since they did it in omega-41 (i would NOT live there even someone forced me to with a titans man....

I believe the only two restricted planets in Sirius are Planet Carinea and Planet Gaia. Pygar is merely a planet. No nomads were found on pygar.

strafe!
