some observations

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

some observations

- after you pull in ashcroft, king gets diverted right? he goes to newark.

- nomads are less suceptible to missiles than normal AI are.

- why the **** can't all the trade lanes going away be on top/bottom and all the ones coming in be at the bottom/top? (dont answer that)

- if you undock, get out of a trade lane/jump gate/hole, and there are enemies and allies/neutrals engaging them, the enemy will invariably turn towards you, if you are within afterburning range, regardless of how many other AI are shooting at it.

- its more like a fluke or something, but if bounty hunters hate you, when you undock from a battleship there's gonna be a flock of them waiting.

they may have been discussed before, i thought i'd share them. feel free to add.

If you don't want it answered, why did you ask? It depends dupon which way you look at a trade lane to decide if it is coming or going away from you.

If that tradelane idea were to happen, they'd have to swap halfway, because otherwise it would be ok at one end but not at the other

And what's wrong with King going to newark, anyway?

if you hear him out, he has to save some ship or another from distress. and not dock at newark and go bar hopping.

as for hostiles engaging me, i had bundschuh take me on yesterday, they were barely just neutral. they broke off from like a dozen rheinland military (their mortal enemy) and came to engage someone that was neutral to them. i dont blame them. i mean.. no one likes the sight of a dragon..

edit: found another funny thingo, if you shoot, as in with guns, at friendly bases, you have to deal out quite a bit of shots for them to go hostile on the spot, but not on your rep, however, if you let loose a missile and it runs into their base by accident, even if its a javelin, they want your head, bad. my catapult missile missed the hessian stiletto and flew into the ring and they all wanted my head -_-

How about this: You come out of a Gate or Hole hauling *&%*&()( and yet your speed is ZERO! Lanes are similar except you are instantly doing speed set before entry.
Question: What happened to inertia?

OR, how often do you see AI ships fly THROUGH asteroids?

It is hard to soar with eagles when you fly with turkeys.

Here's another thing I noticed: Gunboats(you can see them quite often in Tau-31 and Tau-29) never engage pirates, but just fly right by them. At the same time, pirates never engage gunboats. Also, I can't help but wonder why gunboats are almost always carrying commodities in their cargo bay.

Thats not commodoatie, ther always carrying H-Feul, because its the Feul for that s gunboats engine

and you know those jump gates, AI always comes out of the hole, but whenever you exit, you're on top, or below or on either side of the gate/hole, never at the mouth where you should appear.

Another one remembered: F4 to form up on ships docking with a Hole or Gate. When you come out the other side they are GONE. This has happened every tiem I have done it [which is scores. Of course, same applies for those you follow through. Where in the ether do they gp?

It takes time to cross the gate buy the time u emerge from the other side the formation u r in has entered the trade lane an gone!

no, doesn't take that long. i guess its just based on a random AI creation/deletion thing.

i once formed up with a convoy out of sheer boredom and we flew into an asteroid field, suddenly everything blew up, i mean the convoy, and i just got the shocks from the blast, took out quite a bit of shield. i can't remember if it was a minefield, but even if it was, it wasn't zone 21, and even so no mines have enough yield to take out 2 transports plus like 3 hawks in a split second.

sounds like an explosive gas field.
