yes i play with mods but not that the nomads drop something they have always done so....... even when i did'nt even know what mods where. then i started to use them. it's just luck..... and they only drop blasters and cannons

i saw the Kishiro Hawks with nomad lasers in Kyushu. Thats the only time though.

i've had the same as dextvert - i find quite a few nomad weps wen i fight them. they don't always drop them, but i had 4 on my eagle, without using mods. i say had coz wen i did use mods, i didn't realise it backed up ure saved games, so i re-installed coz i believed it messed up my game :-s

There are 3 nomad guns: Blaster, Cannon and LASER <-- they dont drop only blasters and cannons

You have to be above 35th level the Nomads may then drop some lasers and disruptors.

Nomad weapons use NO energy, by the way, not just a lot less. If you're really desperate, you can download, "The order needs YOU," and just buy the weapons off the Osiris, conveniently docked next to the nomad jump holes in Omicron Alpha. Personally, I felt the Rheinland heavy hitters were far superior, but to each their own. --- VH16
