Fav Characters...but why?
If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

I kinda liked the dude that Juni's talking with at the beginning of the game, when they're discussing taking more and more liberties and such and then Trent barges in. I think his slick slimy, almost evil voice is pretty cool and he's got a tight suit as well. --- VH16

Walker, because of the already mentioned irony that he is forced to fight against his own colleagues in order to save them from the Nomads.
Juni, 'cause of that butt... ("Oh darn, I failed the first mission. I'll just have to start over and let Juni show me that junky fighter again..."
Tobias because I like Rhys-Davies (the voice actor) and the character himself is much fun to listen to (if sometimes a little too quiet).
Ozu, not because of his sacrifice (although I'll say that it was a very melodramatic moment), but because he was a good example of a freedom fighter willing to go to any lengths to get the job done. Ozu shoots Tekagi's men in the corridor without mercy, showing that he has abandoned many codes of conduct in order to save his people. This would be a far larger sacrifice of personal honour for Ozu, in the name of a society that has re-embraced ancient Japanese honour codes and practices.
Hakara, just because George Takai will always sound as though he's holding his nostrils when he talks. (Prime example of this is after they return to the Blood Dragon base and Hakara talks to Trent.
Trent, because he's our eyes and ears to this story, and he seems to be along for the ride without a f***ing clue! This is very similar to the stereotypical 'hero' in Japanese anime shows like Gundam and Macross, with pilot characters that are less than perfect, personal flaws that would make their parent's cringe, and a tendency not to know what's going on until the final scene -- and then they get all heroic...

My favorite has to be King, since he is nice and lazy ("Trent, next time listen to your old pal King, and say no". As to the people who like Ozu, Walker, and Botzler for sacrificing themselves, you are entitled to your opinion, but i am personally sick of how often movies (and this game) has people sacrifice themselves readily without any thought. Perhaps just a little too cliche for my liking. After all, in Alaska, what happened to the giant Liberty cruised forward guns? They smashed the battleship in seconds in "escape from Manhattan", why not here? And with the exception of the cruisers, did anyone ever think of flying around the battleships to get to the gate?
