1. You cant become a member of the order in SP, sorry

2. There is no set way to be a rogue, there are different forms you can take and still be one.

3. All caps in everything gets people annoyed, just a friendly reminder.

You can't "join" the Order. You're with them if you follow the story line, then they bugger off.

I think after the end of the SP, you are part of the "Order". At the end, Orillion says "Enjoy your vacation, freelancer". So he's still a part of it, he's just on a break until he's needed again, which hopefully will be soon in FL2 or FL:Expansion.

Theoretically, you can pretend to be a Liberty Rogue. Grab a Bloodhound or Wolfhound, arm up with Liberty Rogue lasers, head out their with your molecular shield and either defend their convoys or hijack transports near tradelanes. Then head back to Motezuma or Buffalo with your loot. You know you've made it when a Bounty Hunter comes along and puts a Sunslayer up your ion drive :p

The Order vanish from the game once the campaign is over. They have no base, no patrols, and don't appear in the reputation window either. Unless you replay the Order part of the campaign, you can't join or pretend to join The Order.
