here's a tip. Destroy bounty hunters to get a good rep with criminals. Also, once you get in good terms and can dock on a base, hack a lane, and wait until universal convoies hauling h-fuel arrive. My advice is this, shoot rhino's hauling the fuel because transports don't really drop as much as rhinos.(it burns up on the explosion) I hope I was a good help.

Heh, I'm lucky, I didn't find the 'real' Border Worlds till I wasn't so much of a newbie, lol, I was too busy trying to find every detail in each map -- I didn't think there were other systems till I found a few jumpholes to places I'd never heard of. From the sound of it, I don't think anyone in the Omicron systems would let him dock, let alone get a mission.

Do do missions that will raise your rep with criminals, you really need to take missions from criminals. And to do that, you need to be at least neutral so you can dock with their stations. Attack Bounty Hunters -- if you can . The only way of being allies with all the criminals with any degree of speed is to kill as many Bounty Hunters as you can. Unfortunately, you'll have us on your tail from then on, but you would as a criminal anyway

go to ny and take out the storage depots near manhattan you will be instantly "in" with the criminals particularly if you kill a few of the police navy etc that you annoy by doing this
just dont plan on vacationing on manhattan for a while

If he does escape to the borderworlds, then he should be able to dock with the Zoners, unless he messed them up too, which means he's pretty much screwed.
