He's right. Though, I don't think they have any base as sorts. All the official bases are either Police or Navy in Liberty, to my recollection.

The lsf doesnt have a base. But you can find out base name and factions controlling it by pointing the cursor at the base and keeping it still.

I happened to look at the LSF info lastnight.

They're part of the Liberty Navy, and are a secret group. So it wouldn't make much sense for them to have a base.

They're secret? No they aren't! They're supposed to be the FBI, so why would they need any bases? They can just walk in anywhere like they own the place! Damn feds...

Great computer!
What kinda chip you got in there?
A dorito?

The jail base in Alaska where U get Jakobi from is operated by LSF says so in the description. but i don't know of a way to get into Alaska or Tohoku after i beat the single player/
if anyone knows? please tell me

They're not the FBI, they're the CIA. The LSF is the Liberty Navy's inteligence section. It says in the data card for them they operate in secret to ensure the free flow of goods and services in Liberty Space.

@kud13 there's no way of getting to alaska or tohoku after sp, you can however if you mod the game

LSF a part of the Navy -- sounds about right. And I did wonder... if they're secret, why would they have a base? In fact, they probably don't limit themselves to the Patriot. There could be LSF agents flying right in front of you sometimes without you even realising it. They'd use whichever ship they needed to disguise their identity.

The LSF is probably that group of people you don't know much about unless you're real friendly with them. Alaska is LSF, so I would guess that they're not really a true faction in every sense of the word. They probably just operate in the story missions and post missions on Liberty bases.

Since the police are a company and are bribed easily i guess Liberty need a third faction after the navy and police.

Lol, they are bribed pretty easily, for a police force I guess that makes the LSF the last line of defence for Liberty...

LSF has no ships or bases. check the ship info, it says Liberty ship and not LSF ship.

LSF is secret police and is only used in the story.

You were gone?

i agree with nickless...

lsf (liberty security force) isn't a part off the liberty police or liberty navy. it's just an other way off security with have te ability to use better weaps then the cops, while not having special flyable zones as the navies (u will not see navies outside manhattan, ecx. when their is something going terrible wrong).

the ships flown by them is unknown, maybe 2nd handed ships from all over serious (ie. all civilian ships, some crim ships, house ships (also all tradeships)).
maybe they have no use off ships... who can say that excactly is some1 who works for them...
