If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

Circle round Manhattan to the opposite side of the planet from the Docking Ring. Head northwards into the debris field, you'll find it.

A good general tip for finding bases that you aren't exactly sure where they are is to fly to their general loction (like north from Manhattan) and turn on the patrol paths for the status the owners of the base are to you.

Then just fly to the point where the patrol paths meet and voila, instant base or jumphole.

Gus' tip is a good one. Although sometimes patrol paths that appear to be going in the right direction to meet will take you on a wild space-goose race, a lot of the time you'll find bases you had no idea existed...

Yeah, but don't go hunting for bases by Patrol Routes, they sometimes lead you to unwanted jump holes.

Lol, unwanted? In what way? What comes out of it, or where it leads? I made sure to chart them all, I wasn't aware that some were unwanted...

Most jumpholes have a population zone around them where encounters are far more likely than normal flying around, so if the factions there are hostile to you it would be better to stay away

I mean if you're hunting for bases and you're not looking for jump holes, and you come up to a jump hole expecting a base, it's kinda disappointing.

Not if it's a jumphole you never found before . I always used to like those... till I charted everything. Then I just finished SP and did it all again, lol. I loved exploring, so much fun...
