Lucrative systems for Bounty Hunter

If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!

Lucrative systems for Bounty Hunter

I'm trying to find the most lucrative systems for a bounty hunter without getting taken to systems like omicron beta. I'm finding that Sigma-17 has some nice bounties, but I'm trying to find other places like that.

Any ideas?

go to OMICRON THETA and to freeport 9... there you can do jobs for bounty hunters ... and you see bounty hunters flying around there allot

I think Theta is like Beta...which means he doesn't want to go there.
Try Tau-37.

Omega 41's not bad either

Radiation outweighs any advantage in O-41 imo.

Just about anywhere in the outer border worlds is a good place for a Bounty Hunter, as long as there is a base that hands out contracts. Or you could cruise around with BHG partols to see what they run into, which can be fun in its own way.

I used to follow Blood Dragon patrols around. That's when I found out non-regenerating NPC shields are stupid. The Dragons never get their shields back to full...

Thx for the replies so far. As I was beginning my trek away from Gas Miner Naha, I first went to nav map doodad here on LancersReactor and checked who owned/ran the planets/bases in the border/outer world systems. My strategy is basically to stay out of those systems w/ bases/planets run by my current enemies. Whaddya think?

Um wheres the danger in that? If you can kill at least 4 on you then your fine. Just keep out of Sabre/Titan territory if your worrid though

I've been in Sabre country, in hostile territory...you know it's not fun, even with a Hammerhead and 4/2 SkyblastB/SunblastB. You could shoot them all out of the sky and you're always in enemy territory.

Titans aren't so bad i find. I just maxxed out my levels in Omicron Theta where I found the pricest bounties short of checking out Tau space again.

Now I just sit back and wait for ICFTW to release

celic, if you ever have the chance go to kyoto base and get a good rep w/ the outcasts. just ask the bartender and make sure you have some credits on u. the alteritive is to use ioncross character editor and fix the rep with the like that.

if you ever see A player named Cantana_Focks it's probably me

it aint hard to get a good rep with outcasts... u can do it QUICKLY without a hack. heres how:

shoot bounty hunter ships (that gets u neutral with almost ALL criminal factions really fast.) or, shoot corsairs. that will get u friendly with hessians/outcasts/blood dragons/golden chrysanthemums REALLY quick... (all the cool factions )
really, bribes are a waste of money unless u have a really bad freighter and lots of cash. or if u dont think u can kill 15-20 enemies coming in groups of 4

Orillion: So trent, will you help us with the mission?

Trent: Sure, as long as I'm not shot at, knocked out, held at gunpoint, electrocuted, skewered alive by giant alien shapeshifters, have to dive out windows, or fight off spindly nomad incubi.

i would say, home attacks by outcast and corsair...

fast money, hard play

^^^What he said^^^

By far the best places are the two home systems of the Corsairs and Outcasts. I've received more bounty in those two places than any other.

Another thing to do though for quite a lot of cash, though, is to join up patrols with fellow Bounty Hunters in the Omega-11 system. In my AP-class Hammerhead, I've scored millions from the various level-7 weapons the enemies leave when they die an explosive death -- and as they mostly fly Stilletos (Red Hessians), they're pretty easy to deal with even with overwhelming odds. Hence, Omega-11 system specifically. And they drop enough Nanobots for you to stay out in the radiation for quite a while. So long as you stick near enough to Solarius Station to get repairs to your subsystems periodically, you should be fine.
In MP, it's very lucrative to take bounties from other players, BTW.

something odd.

if u play as a hunter, best place for bounties are in the homeworlds off corsair and outcast.

if u play as a crim, best place for bounties is in the middle worlds.

some places in liberty can be hard for a crim, espesial when using the wrong ship by thus places, that's y the best playing crims uses lighter fighter then the bestest navy/hunter players.

also weap choices is div by this. crims uses more often missiles then hunters, co'z they uses better weap classes on their fighter (co'z they fly also higher rated ships).

if i must be a cop/navy/hunter i use the drake (u can look at my choise that i'm more often a crim then a navy/cop/hunter), if i must be a crim i use the dagger (i have a perfect setup and destroyed already an eagle player with it).
