Help with Dromedary Freighter

Greetings

This ship states level 10 to purchase, but at which level or point in the game would you really be able to make the purchase?

Here's my situation: Currently level 11, just finished the 5th mission and thought I might make my way back to the Mactan Base for just this reason. I figured that the Outcasts & perhaps a few other factions in this area would be KoS to me, and they were. After a several attempts on docking at this base I had no such luck, as it is always hostile towards me. I've tried docking here after bribing at Freeport 4, with the Lane Hackers, Liberty Rouges, Bounty Hunters, & I think one other faction, but those are the one's I remember.

Q - Is this base set to always be hostile till some events in-game are played out, or just what? I.E., I believe this base is controlled by Lane Hackers, however after I bribed this faction at Freeport 4, I still could not dock. Of the factions I bribed, they would always be friendly or neutral in this area, until I was about 3-5K from the Mactan Base. Once I got any closer, they turned hostile and I was unable to dock. I did NOT engage or fire upon any ships while traveling from Freeport 4 to Mactan Base to make the dock.

Any help or insight into this would be greatly appreciated.

i'm not sure, but it may have to do with the storyline. you might have to play through the game before being able to get a rep hack to let you dock there.

This happens to me, usually because of Outcasts, let me explain:

Say, if you're neutral to Lane Hackers, but Outcasts hate you, and are KoS.

Because Lane Hackers are allied with Outcasts, if Outcasts decide to try to kill you outside Mactan, the Lane Hackers help, and become hostile in the immediate area. Therefore, you can't dock with Mactan.
If you go far enough away (15K, or something) from where you were attacked, the hostility disappears, and you can try again, and Hackers will once again be neutral again... unless there are more Outcasts around.

This can happen with any faction, in any system.

Easiest way to go about this is to do the mission where you flee from Bretonia and go to Kusari (7 or 8, I think). When you reach Cali, Outcasts are neutral to you, so you don't need to worry about them rallying the Hackers against you.

the easiest way is to make outcast neutral to you..

1. when Tobias told you to change ship.. don't change.. so the bounty hunter always hostile with you and you had a 'valid reason' to kill them.. or if you had change ship.. kill as many bounty hunter as you can..

2. attack bounty hunter depot.. ie supply depot beside Sheffield Station at Manchester Sys.. its more fast to make outcast neutral to you..

3. go back to Liberty's space.. kill as many as you can at there except rouge and lane hacker..

for me number 2 is faster way to make me neutral with outcast.. but some time there had 10 bounty hunter at that station.. and some time none.. so.. wish you luck..

Just kill Bounty Hunters and most criminals will like you. Takes awhile but Bounty Hunters are easy prey.

and something else...

in an area where are also friends off hunters, they stay the way they are (neutral/friendly) and will not attack u.

so it can be done that only hunters are your enemy and all others neutral/friendly
