Bounty Hunters Guild

I'm kind of lost as to which forum to post this message to. If this is the wrong one, I'll gladly go to the correct one.

My question is: I've completed the first person missions of Freelancer, and would like to get into the Bounty Hunters Guild from here (or Blood Dragons...is it even possible?)...what do I do? Is it simply a matter of getting my reputation hacked by certain people on certain systems, and then bingo bango I'm a bounty hunter?

Please help

Pretty much, just kill off criminals a fair bit and then drop into almost any freindly place and you're bound to run into a BHG representative with a job or bit of info for you. You can't actually BE a part of any organization though with a little imagination and RPing that isn't a problem.

Oh, and get yourself a Hammerhead decked out with Reavers, can't be a Bounty Hunter unless you look the part.

Well I'm in Bretonia space now. I figure I'll fly the criminal missions on my way to the reputation hackers. By then I should have the coin and rank to get to the hammerhead

Now in multiplayer, can a pilot BE a part of a faction?

Just do missions for them. Your rep goes up pretty fast. For the Dragons, it's even easier as you end the story missions in the green with them already.

Are you saying if you keep doing missions for a faction, you'll eventually get that faction displayed before your name, e.g. "Outcasts - Yumiko" instead of "Navy - Yumiko" or "Yumiko"?

Yumiko, that's what I want...but that's where the RPG element comes in. As I've heard (until I hear otherwise) you have to 'imagine' you're part of that group.
