I think the game sold reasonably well too, but that doesn't always constitue a sequel or expansion pack.

Ok... never mind Freelancer 2 sounds right. But right now, Billy Bil Gates is like... working out an expansion for Halo or something like that.

Well, Mod-Makers can make a HUGE mod that basically REDOES the story and game, turning it into an expansion. Something like, Rise of the Corsairs, where they begin to take over and stuff.

yes mods can be fun, but not everyone can have a chance to play it, you have to download it first. And also mods can rarely make a good campaine mission since we can't make good voice acting, and mods are just doesn't feel authentic enough... So only a offical expansion or Freelancer 2 can make it feel right.

plus, you cant really add much more "new" stuff with mods. it would take a tremendous amount of work to put in a new system or two, tool around with the trade system, adn stuff. plus, if there was an official expansion, they could really make the game good. i mean, if the gameplay was what we all wanted it to be, it couldnt be done in a mod

I pictured the Dom K'vosh as a non-hostile race. Maybe they'll hear about the Nomads(they'r ein an uprising )and come to help us? That would be sweet.

hasent the game got to be released on budget first so they can coin as much in as possable before the fl2 release?
