What''s the point of making money?

In Freelancer, I think there's no point of making money other than to fix and upgrade your ship. But if you've got a class 10 ship and class 10 weapons and max level, there really is no point. I've got loads of money and nothing to do with it. I can't even enjoy the luxuries of Orbital spa and cruise, or give some to charity. Hahahaha.

use your moeny for ammo (sunslaier, Ripper,Firestalker, Canonball or Hornet)

or make a clan or join existing clan, give moeny to new recrutes to help your clan.

or better hier Mercs to kill your enemes

or keep gettign money tell you get to the max level (99?)

Join clans, try roleplaying servers, try modded servers, chalenge other players to a duel... there are so much options.

its what the game is about
make money and kill things thats it
use the cash for what you want help noobs try to get more than other ppl
the REAL point is to have fun the money is not the real aim as with any game its about fun when it stops being fun buy another game or go back to starlancer wing commander or whatever

There is no point to making loads of cash, unless you follow some of the posts above. There is a point of dimnishing return when you have so much money, granted. But there are options available.

use it to build some more characters and build some more different ships
park one in each major system and save travel time

I know you have to remove the refrigerator door when placing it at the curb , but then the neighbours kid would get away for sure , damn moral dillema's
