Has anyone gone back to the nomad sphere thing?

I have finshed the game months ago and i got loads of cash and spent it all as u do but now i had a idea of gettin loads of cash packin up wit weapons and well stuff and goin through the nomad system and going back to where the game ended and seein wot was there and well back to the question of hand
Has anyone tried this and is it a lost attempt at doin something different which may have a nice reward to it?

You can't get back to the dyson sphere, or any of the omicron systems after completeing the campaign. If you really must see them again either use a MOD, or load up an old save game or restart SP. Problem solved!

This may sound a bit daft, but what MOD ? I saw it a while ago and can't find it now. Can someone please help ?

The 'Sam's Jumpsystem' mod works well for this. Watch out for Nomads though...

Rebalance, The Next Generation mod, Hostile Unverse all do that I think. Great mods to try out aswel, apart from the dyson sphere thingy

right has anyone tried wot i asked before and i have heard it is possable but very hard but i need to know if there is a award for doin this so im not goin on a fools errands.....................and u can go through the omicron systems

The only benifit (as far as I'm aware) is that its nice to revisit the area. You gain sod all in terms of profit or stuff, but you get a nice fuzzy feeling inside...

As it happens i got halfway way their: In sigma-19 a couple Kiulometers from Luxury Liner Hawaii there is a nomad jmpgate it idenitfyes no name though (look on scanner) when i jumped when it says loading the game shut it self off and after multiple attempts same thing hasppens probly clue that MS and DA are making FL2 either that or something forgooten by makers or soem really mean guy dosent want public to know any secrets to a FL2. Summary: no one will ever know till 04 or 05 or 06 or 07 etc.

Actually omicron major is where freeport 7 used to be. For proof download "trents new start" MOD. and use the cargo to sell to lonigan option

Lol, a mod is a modified game. That means anyone who makes the mod can make it anyway he wants. If the modmaker want FP7 in New York, he'd put FP7 in New York.
A mod says nothing about the game.
For me FP7 was in Sigma 17 and yes I know what the ini-files say, but I don't care.
