call me stupid...

i some freelancer questions and one non-freelancer question. my main question is:

HOW DO I SEARCH THESE FORUM POSTS? i cant find the link... am i blind or is it hidden?

my second question is... im lvl 32 and i seem to be doing all right nomad hunting... ive fought about 7 waves so far and gotten 4 weapons... how does that compare with other rates.

and has anyone ever heard of a Nomad Prototype Class 7 Weapon? cuz i got 2 of them from nomad hunting. its basically... well a class 7 nomad cannon. can you get them without modding, or is my server modded?

also, i have an advanced champion sheild (about 11k capacity) that i got from shooting outcasts. is my server modded?

and what about that sun in the unknown system... the one way out there, where the corona doesnt hurt you? is it just a space anomaly, a glitch in the game, or is there some secret there...? plus, why does my ship-indicator on the map turn into the red triangle whenever im within 80k of the sun?

Okay

1. The form surch was taken away. You can't use it.
2. Nomad weapon drop rates are completely random. Just depends on luck.
3. If you got the class seven nomad gun your server is modded
4. Ditto with above.
5.a The sun in the south unknown system doesn't hurt you. Cool if you want to see a sun up close.
b. The reason the thing gets a red triangle is because you have gone off the map.

ok well i guess my server is modded... thats a bummer oh well i guess its not TOO bad... thx for the help.

waiiiit a minit... if theres no search, then theres nothing against asking old questions, riiiiight?

Well, I guess that would be an excuse...but there are stickies and a main page for a reason. Use those resources before asking questions.

you can use ctrl-F in with show "last year posts" so you will search the subjects only but that might be good enought.

it still amazes me that FL has only been out 9 months and people are already quitting it......and begging for an FL2 and Xpack......jesus people have some damned patients.

It surprises me even more actually, just how many new people come here almost every day. That means those people bought FL just a few days ago, wich means FL is probably better then everyone is saying.

Well, some of those people may have finished the SP game and explored Sirius for
a long while. There IS an awful lot to see, after all. Then they at last get on MP and
hear about TLR from someone like me who announces it in NY system chat!

FL's no longer is stores (sob) so I think TLR gonna reach critical mass before March, and then leave only us hardcore players. --- VH16

Also concerning suns, the yellow dwarf(I think it is a dwarf) in Tau-37 won't kill you as well, and it is a lot closer then the one in the unknown system. And the sun in the Bering system does not even have a carona. Just some mild radiation damage.

still available in stores in the UK for anywhere between £20 - £40...thats about $30 - $60 OMG we get ripped off in the UK don't we?????????????
