Who are the Monkeys and Robots

I went through the Unknown Jumpgate in Omicron Gamma and went to the planet with the race of monkeys and apes, then went to the other planet with the race of robots, both races seemed to know Trent. Who are they and what's their story. thanks

The monkeys are the folks who escaped from the Solar system in the sleeper ship Simian. The robots are a rebel faction who got tired of being bartenders for humans.

I can't answer your question, but if you look really closely on the surface of the planet you can see a little guy, on his knees on a beach, screaming at the head of what appears to be a buried statue....hmmm how odd.

seriously though, I can't remember the answer, BUT I spent a long time there and after a while I was getting more and more background info from the bartenders...(I tend to ignore stuff like that to be honest)....I suggest that if its bugging you, spend a while there and talk to the natives repeatedly.

Well, If I had to guess, I'd say that the monkeys and robots are monkeys and robots. As for there stories, I'd say that they lived on seperate planets and don't know each other. The Monkeys seem to be good mechanics while the robots don't seem to want to do anything for you.
