Complete History Each House/Infocards on Major Planets/Bases
If you are stuck in a mission and do not know how to continue, this is the place to ask for help. Missing that elusive Level 10 Shield? Don''t know where to find the lost Ohtori ship? This is the only place where spoilers are allowed!
Another rumor I heard about jumpgates was about how agiera built them. I got this on Pueblo. It went something like this.
We didn't develop the Jumpgates from scratch, when Agiera was founded, we used information that was found on alien artifacts buried on Manahtten. These artifacts have since become on of the most envyed secrets liberty has.
So you see, It was the dom ka vosh (sp?) that acutually designed the jumpgates, Agiera just found the plans and built them.

I remmember from the story that they have very advanced system of traveling and the the known technology is nothing compared to it. (thats what I remmember from the Prof. words) and the jumpgates net is very advanced and it only could be activated by the certain artifact that Trent had.

"At the beginning of StarLancer the French and Italian forces were wiped out, so therefore the construction of them two sleeper ships was cancelled, and the construction of the remaining six was more concentrated."
<<------------------------quote------------------------->>
There were no plans for sleeper ships at that time. At the beginning of SL, a war had just ENDED, meaning the Alliance expected to continue living on in Sol peacefully. They got caught off guard by the Coalition- again, no sleeper ships were planned by then. In fact, your entire campaign in SL is to TAKE BACK Sol, not to leave it- the sleeper ship plans didn't come for another 100 years, and even then they were a last minute desperation plan. France and Italy were defeated before the thought of sleeper ships ever crossed the minds of Alliance High Command; they could not have been part of the sleeper scheme.

"The Canadian sleeper ship (probably called the Moose or something lol) was destroyed upon launch (again watch the intro movie and you'll see it blowing up just as the music gets high pitched, then resembles a low farting noise, and then the narrator says "Against all odds the colony ships broke through the Coalition blockade, and headed for the Sirius systems . . .""

Canada was never mentioned as an Alliance member nation. You never see any reference to Canada in SL or FL at any point; where this came from I don't know. It may be IMPLIED by Canada's current(present day) status with the US, Germany, Japan, and Great Britain, but they are never mentioned as a member nation of the Western Alliance seen in SL.
AUSTRAILIA was the last Alliance member nation.
Even if Canada signed up later, that still leaves the "8 ship" argument one ship short. And going back and watching the final version of the intro several more times, there are only five ships. I refer you to the launch announcements made as the sleepers lift off; #1-#5 are mentioned, but nowhere does anyone mention any other ships. The narrator makes no mention of more ships; if they had existed they surely would have been in the intro. I also noticed no large Alliance ships blowing up; Coalition ships bombard the launch site but the sleeper ships are not seen in that scene. One of the sleepers(The Liberty) takes a direct hit from a beam, but is not destroyed. In fact, the only large ships you can see being destroyed in the intro are the Coalition Carriers, which are destroyed just as the narrator makes his "blockade" announcement. I can only assume that these were the ships you refer to, and they are most definitley NOT sleeper ships.
The only information regarding the "8 ships" theory is still only a bar rumor; there is nothing beyond that supporting the argument. You got it in a bar 800 years after the ships were launched; the Hispania isn't even common knowledge in Sirius by then. Knowledge posessed by Sirius inhabitants on the escape from Sol is sketchy at best; as with any legend, someone somewhere probably threw in some extra spice to make it sound more exciting. And still keep in mind this is a BAR RUMOR, not data from a historian or a story character. Which means the person who gave it to you heard it from someone else in the bar, who most likely heard it in another bar, etc. Drunken data is no data at all.

I will aid them when I can...if they give me a percentage of the salvage from whatever they frag along the way. But god help them if someone puts a bounty on THEIR heads, for I don't care who I hunt for, as long as their live capture(or untimely death) can get me enough credits to buy a decent sized mug of my favorite drink."- A Freelance Bounty Hunter.

I'm losing patience here - STOP COPYING AND PASTING from other sites! make a compilation if you must, but if you took them from other sites, just link it to the original site instead of pasting the entire text. There is a whole bunch of legal and ethical issues involved here. For example, if your original source site charges for access, or displays banners/popups/online store for THEIR visitors, and TLR simply "steals" their visitors, because they would rather visit a banner/popup free site that TLR is. It is of course more convenient to the visitors, but it undermines our partner TLR sites - rather unfairly.
To sum up:
1. Remove all the pasted text.
2. REPLACE pasted text with links to their original source.
3. You are allowed to put your own text addition to the links, provided that YOU are the author of that text.
4. If the said source sites have gone offline/retired and cannot be found anywhere else, then you are allowed to paste the text.
5. Minimize the amount of posts you make (fit as much content possible into one post) so that the Mods don't suspect you of spamming.
Respect intellectual copyrights! I notice that you do credit your sources - that is well-intentioned but unfortunately not enough. Contents of a website are often meant to attract visitors, ie to make them shop at their online stores, or attract potential customers to their advertised clients (banners, links, etc). Some sites depend on these stuff, and some who don't might just like the intellectual gratification or the popularity or quantity of hits/popularity. We should not deny these to them.

If you go sneaking around the game folders and look at the music, you'll find a WAV file entitled "music_bar_hispania.wav" or something similar. I'd call that good evidence for the Hispania's existance...
plus, if the Hispania never made it to Sirius, where did all those hispanic pirates come from?
"preacher, don't the bible have some pretty specific things to say about killing?"
"Very specific. But it gets fuzzy in the area of kneecaps..."
