Alaska where are you?

Sorry that my first post here is a request, but have been looking here, there and every minefield (clue?) for the jumpgate (or whatever) to get to the Alaskan system as marked on the excellent Nav Map from this site.

Can anyone show me the way?

Go to the Battleship Missouri and go East. You will hit a giant minefield (you cannot plow through). If you fly around until the front of the gate is pointing directly at you, there should be a huge path leading to the gate. However, the gate is locked...
