Come on people, the Hovis race was hands down easy .
I forget the ship I had, but I hit my cruise engines on the "GO" and used a mix of freepoint flight and a and d strafing. I blazed ahead of him before the first ring and had him behind me all race.
Hint: KEEP MOVING, even when Hovis has weapons platforms start shooting at you. You'll barely take damage before you fly through the end ring if you're smart and had your cruise engines on all race.
