Any route that makes you credits. There is a trade route matrix out there but you may have to search a bit. I printed it a couple of months ago and it's been great. You're looking for a post that tells you route by profit and route by # of jumps.

The *cheap* trade route in SP is in a Humpback .Buy diamonds at New Berlin, haul diamonds to Yangi Despot via the sigma 13 jumpgate 1/2 way through the tradelane to the left of New Berlin (it should be in a rock-cloud). Pick up some cardimine and take it back to New Berlin for easy money, you can earn 1,000,000 + an hour this way.

This does NOT work in multiplayer however, otherwise there would be Titan Lovers (in Titans) and Titan Haters (in Eagles) dueling everywhere (which is not a good thing).

For my personal favourite trade route, click here. in a CSV (thanks to a mod by BlazeMe and a little bit of modding on my part ) with an 80k cargo hold like the NPCs, you can make $920 million from doing this trade route ONCE!

I'll see if i can post my CSV mod in the near future!

My favorite trade route. Requires the NY ---> Magellan gate to be unlocked.

Stop 1: Beaumont Base, Texas
- Sell Cardamine
- Buy Engine Components

Take the Texas ---> NY Jump Hole
Take the NY ---> Magellan Jump Gate

Stop 2: Mactan Base, Magellan
- Sell Engine Components
- Buy Cardamine.

Take the Magellan ---> NY Jump Gate
Take the NY ---> Texas Jump Hole
Repeat

I made about 200K per round trip with a fully loaded Dromedary. 5 runs and you can buy a fully loaded VHF. Only 2 jumps. Requires Lane Hackers and Junkers not to hate you. Recommended Outcasts and Rogues not hate you. Although, you can always hang around Rochestor killing junkers for their cargo and making about 100K per Junker.

1. Buy diamonds at Frietal Base in Omega-11, $198.
2. Sell diamonds on Planet New Tokyo, $1650. Buy luxury consumer goods, $810.
3. Sell luxury consumer goods on Planet Honshu, $990. Buy engine components, $150.
4. Sell engine components at Arranmore Base in Dublin, $1500. Buy gold, $271.
5. Sell gold on Planet New Berlin, $1189. Buy engine components, $225.
6. Sell engine components at Frietal Base, $1050, and begin again.

Just had to add that I don't buy goods now... I steal them ... any corporation you're good with just rip off one of their transports if they are carrying something worthwhile and sell it anywhere for pure profit. Generally doesn't hurt your rep too much, especially if then in turn you blow up some of their enemys and rip off their weapons.........

I found a place where you can mine your own diamonds, cant remember where it is though, you mine a hold full of them, then sell them on new tokyo, easy

Mining Diamonds may be very profitable, but it's too time consuming. I don't have the patience to sit around and mine in an asteriod field until i get a full hold (250/275 diamonds). The trade routes or level 40+ missions are profitable in shorter times.
