Level 26 -no missions-

I am at level 26. Finished the story game and am really friendly with the corsairs. Only prob is that I cannot get a really good fighter at current level cause I need to "Do a Mission" to level up. I have around 26mil in credits but.....

Any idea on how to get a mission when no planet, base, station has one..or you need to be a more experienced pilot!!

What I mean is that where ever I go, the stations, bases, planets etc at the bar they do not offer any missions, or especially in the southern sections of the map (corsiars, zoners etc) it says I need to be a more experienced pilot.

I have been to the Rheinland, Liberty, Kusari sectors and they say the same. No Jobs!! Me thinks I should get on the bad side of the corsairs again and see if then I will get a mission.

Well, if your rep is anything but green with a faction, I don't think you can take jobs. So, ya. Maybe killing Corsairs would be a good thing.

have you activated the official Freelancer 1.1 patch? it screws up the levelling system, so if you have do an uninstall but leave the "Remove saved games/screenshots/user data" box UNCHECKED. You'll still have all your saved games n stuff, so just try again!

sounds like the 1.1 patch to me it screws up the sp game a lot
