How to join Junkers?

Kill Hogosha until your rep. with the Junkers is 0. Then take missions at any Junker base.

They don't have to 0. Only 0 to get missions. But you can dock and buy some stuff with a -0.4 rep.

Zoners like BH about the same as Xenos, so my advice there stands:
Monitor your Zoner rep carefully and bribe the Zoners when they get too negative.
