Yo for all u noobs tryin to beat the game fast heres how.
In Manhattan get a dagger by killing the police and going to buffalo base.
Then in bretonia get a cavalier with 2 adv skyrails and 2 skyrails
In Kusari get a baracudda (its really good) outfitted with 2 scrambler type 1
2 adv skyrail and 2 dragoon type 1. In Rhineland guess what? a Falcon is much stronger than anubis so right before u rescue von claussen go to rhineland and buy one. Then after u win just get a VHF of your choice. I have a hammerhead, Its a generally good ship, i am shooting for a eagle if i get the money.
If you have different tips be free to addon to this!

If cardamine went up against marijuana at which sells more, i wonder what would win? o

By default (i.e. unmodded), you may buy a Falcon only when you reach Level 24.
The story missions end after level 17. So, the Falcon is unavailable during the missions.

@jat71 you're absolutely right about the Anubis, its a once in a lifetime experience that everyone should have.

People should play the game in the way that they want. If that means flying a Rino the entier way, more power to them. Thats why there are so many ships in this game, diversity. More options, more experances.

My advice for 'noobs' would be to treat Freelancer like a woman,
Take it slow
Explore to your hearts content
Treat her well and you will be well treated
Learn what triggers agression and what sooths it
The best that money can buy isnt always the best choice, pick that which holds 'other' value and most of all,
Have fun

Argh sorry i posted this at 2:00 in the morning. anyway i dont really enjoy flying the ULTIMATE FIGHTER deal, i like having a hard time in the game.

Because there is? Unmodded, that is. You can only buy the Anubis in campaign, and never on unmodded MP.
