France and Italy were defeated at the beginning of SL. A defeated nation can't launch a sleeper ship. And 100 years passed between SL and the launch of the FIVE sleepers, so construction on sleeper ships hadn't even been concieved yet.

There were 5. BOTH intros(old AND new) say 5. You can watch the launch sequence again if you still think there were 8; NO OTHER SLEEPERS ARE VISIBLE.

Again, a bar rumor is NOT reliable information when compared to the game's intro. It's a RUMOR, and meant to be treated as such- not as something that can replace game history.

People face it, THERE ARE FIVE SLEEPER SHIPS NOT EIGHT. We really need a sticky for all these n00bish questions. Something simple like "New to the forums ?, Common Questions answered here !" . The amount of repeated questions are getting to a ridiculous amount.

On another note, someone should count up all the posts posted in a year's time, and sort them into "Original Posts/Questions", "Hispania" and "Best Ship" topics/questions. Who wants to bet that "Original Posts/Questions" will be under 20% of all topics ?

There are five sleeper ships. You should not:

1. Trust a "rumor". Check a definition of "rumor" in the dictionary.
2. Trust a rumor that comes out of a place that sells mind-altering substance.

And Canada is not even an Alliance member.
