cupidstun, are you sure you are talking about the right game? Or is it a mod you are talking about?

My mistake CW. For some strange reason I thought this was a Pokemon forum. All those references to Freelancer must have confused me!

WTF do you think?

Yes, and unmodified in any way..........

Planet Hikari exists. It isn't dockable. It's in Honshu to the east of all the trade lanes. Lancerthing shows it.

Other obscure planets: Deidus, Waterford, Hades and Cerebus, Carinea...

Yes, but Lancerthing also takes the fun out of flying along all the patrol routes, to check that there's nothing in a system that you've missed......

Now how long have I spent so far per system.........?!

Post Wed Oct 15, 2003 8:55 pm

True, Lancerthing is for advanced players who've been everywhere and need
to be reminded where stuff is. DON'T use it if you haven't at least finished SP.
I fly with Lancerthing running on a dedicated laptop in my 'cockpit'.

ive seen waterford

Post Thu Oct 16, 2003 6:51 pm

Most people have seen Waterford (if you've played the campaign you've seen it), but how many people have actually flown close enough to it to see its name, and know where it actually is?

Most advanced players have seen Deidus too, but almost nobody knows what planet it actually is. Carinea is probably the hardest planet to find, along with Hikari.

The planet was named by early explorers who were lost. Suddenly, an unknown planet appeared before them. One spoke up, "Where the heck are 'e?"
