As my nickname suggests, I favour the Eagle. The rate of turn in all planes is better than all other Class 10 ships, but I do agree with Jim, having a 120k turret for ‘decoration’ or taking pot shots at your mates when in formation isn’t good value for money, Its still there though.

The whole ‘best ship’ argument comes down to personal preference anyway, if you like serious manoeuvrability, the Drake is king, (as long as you don’t stop moving), and if you like to just sit and plug away, the Titan is the answer.

Really, the best thing to do is just experiment, buy various ships and mess around until you find something you like.

i think the eagle is the best it can hold 6 class 10 weapons while the titan and saber only can carry 4

here is a neat trick to try
when some one shoots a cruise distruptor at you kill your engines but don't use thrusters(this is if you already reached cruise speed and are in open space)you should still be moving and slowly deacclerating this allows you to get out of range longe enough to get your cruise engines back up

tip: wait till your speed is at about 100 to turn your cruise engines back on

Hey Why not use a hammerhead? you could just salvage guns from wrecks, and its the most manuverable.

If only the Hammerhead mounted class 10 guns, It would be my choice.

Bah. Several of the class 9 weapons(Skyblast B, Kraken 2) are more powerful than the class 10 weapons anyway. Don't just judge a ship based on its class rating; give it a try, it will surprise you.

@ Nukit: I do indeed use class 9 guns, thing is the Hammerhead has a weaker power source,
7400 VS. Eagle's 10400 so it runs out of juice too fast. (let's not get into best guns too! )

Edit: Yes, I have flown the Hammerhead, I liked it's wicked looks!

@Kheiron, the banshee, the heaviest light fighter... let me think...

the banshee is a nice light fighter, a little lesser agile then the other light fighters, but it's made for destroying heavy and very heavy fighters, not to destroy light fighters...

the banshee is a nice light fighter, with a good outload i think it can beat a titan in 2 head-ons... but well... why do head-on runs wen u can stay on his back ... the only problem u have when facing a class 10 fighter, with class 10 shield, then u need also a anti-shield gun/missile... however i think that the bashee is on his max when u have a neutralizer and a lancer missile launcher on it... co'z their rn't that much good class 7 guns...

i have on a server a banshee pilot, but still looking for the best weap outload... i fly the most in the dagger, more fun to fly with... and don't say that it can't beat an eagle pilot in a pvp fight without using batts and nano's, co'z i beated some... in a fight where ur able to use them ur

the banshee, i don't know who gonna win in a pvp fight against an eagle without using batts and nano's, i think it's aboout the same, but i think that the banshee will win... smaller object... in a fight with use off nano and batts i think it would be the same...for a good skilled pilot in a banshee against a good skilled pilot in an eagle i think that the banshee pilot will win... but still, that's what i think...
