"Although I do not consider myself a member of the Bounty Hunters' Guild, I find that their goals and mine often follow the same path. I will aid them when I can...if they give me a percentage of the salvage from whatever they frag along the way. Hell, they were even so kind as to sell me a ship after one of my jobs with them, and I've been flying her ever since. But god help them if someone puts a bounty on THEIR heads, for I don't care who I hunt for, as long as their live capture(or untimely death) can get me enough credits to buy a decent sized mug of my favorite drink."- A Freelance Bounty Hunter.

I like that idea

Canada may have been defeated. Think about it. Everyone else had fled to Jupiter/Saturn? (havn't watched the intro in awhile) so apparently Earth was under Coalition control.

BTW, with that amazing intro video, I was disappointed with the big bad guys. I thought the enemy would be the Coalition appearing in Sirius, and the two duking it out again. Not the energy like nomads. Oh well.

hisania is all of spain and portugal and probably the south american continant (almost same launguage) ,and if u took a look at the story u will see that the caolition and alliance where fighting 4 a vry long time (did u forget we now have WMD and we havent yet developed startravel?) so they probably blew of canada and the african continent was just a battle ground like in WW2.if u see the intro also u will see that the sleepers launch 2 space while everything around is falling apart.probably australia was also nuked or coatlition side (i know it is illogical but what the heck! ).but what happened 2 the hispania and y didnt it land on any other sector like the other 4.and y didnt the caoalition send a search and destroy party afterwards?afterall the sleepers destroyed a few ships on thier way out

Pamela Anderson for President? Uh ... where do you suppose the Battleship Yukon came from? Some Canucks most have been aboard the Liberty. (No froggies. of course.)

Must have been a lot of mixing up going on. I've run across Rheinlanders named Sven, Bjorg, Lars etc. Even Rheinlanders with Russian names. Liberty has every sot of name. And how the aitch did a Bretonian get named Edison??? Juni's supposed to be a half-n-half, which is probably why she's damn near bigger than Trent.

Jose Chavez: "Trent! It's good to see my kind of scum."

There is a "battleship Yukon" in Liberty space, I thought that is a place in Canada. That tells you something.

Look at it this way d00ds. Starlancer was based (vaguely) around World War 2 and its many fighter squadrons, am i correct?
Well, in world war 2 AND starlancer the french were wiped our first, followed closely by the italians. Niether of these nations have sleeper ships. Catch my drift?
So, to work out who the remaining sleeper ships (if any) belong to, we must work out which major nations survived WW2, and therefore starlancer.
Does this make sense or is it all a pile of crap?

basil, thats the old intro

Well I just wish the French had their own systems, you know all the NPC's would be more than willing to surrender after you fired one shot at them!

Just imagine, a big ole French freighter, you approach it, fire one shot, and hail it, it dumps all it's cargo and runs away. What an easy way to make big bucks!!!
