There were 8 sleeper ships all together. The Liberty, The Hispania, The Rhineland, The Kusari, The Britonnia , The Chan, The Buddha, and The Oriental.

What's your source?

The ship flying past the Sleeper ship that was standing up is the remnants of the old storyline.

Is it? it fits into the real storyline aswel. It's the Liberty and it's on Manhattan. I know it was in the unused storyline aswel, but it fits in nicely I think.

Anyway, why didn't you copy/paste it into this post?

Not to, ah, bust the bubble...but...

A lot of that is wrong.

First, I'd really love to know where you got the bit about the "other three" sleeper ships...the only info on 8 sleeper ships so far has been an unreliable bar rumor that conflicted with the intro's backstory. A source would be helpful...since there is nothing besides one rumor in-game to back that up(not even in the original intro). The names sound as if they were just made up, since those names have little to do with any actual country, like the other names do.

Second, the CORSAIRS were the ones that abandoned ship early, using the shuttles, in Omicron Gamma. The Outcasts hung on until the Hispania gave out in Omicron Alpha, where it can still be found.

The main thing (apart from what NukeIt said) that I think is wrong is the sleeper ship name. Oriental, Chan and Buddha aound like Chinese or around that area an we know that china was part of the Coalition.

you do know they changed the intro, dont you? the old intro is on page 6 of the downloads, perhaps they forgot to change the rumours?

Even so, the old intro still doesn't mention any extra sleeper ships, it's just the intro with crappier music and 4 minutes of Nomad goodness tacked on to it.

@ Sybot ... Agree on the peculiar names. The Jackie Chan sleeper ship? And surely, no Buddhist nation would name a ship the Buddha, any more than a Christian country would launch the Jesus or a Muslim country the Muhammad. The Oriental? Then what are the Kusari?

If there were any more sleeper ships, they would be from the Alliance countries.
The Tasmania? Sounds cool ...
La Belle France? Probably wouldn't work ...
The Italia? Probably become another outlaw faction ... the Carbonari or something.

the black hole part is interesting but apart from that you tell us nothing we haven't heard many times on this old chestnut, except those extra 3 names? like where doid you get those from, guy? Chan, Buddha and Oriental? like where were they supposed to be from, considering as had been pointed out above that China and the surrounding regions were under Coalition control. Only Japan we know for sure wasn't.

..you think you're done with the past, but the past isn't done with you..

Probably Africa and south america and... ARTIC were the last 3 IF the 3 existed.

No,
Kusari is Japan.
China was on the Colition.
The other 3 were French, South Africa and ???.

Where on Earth did you get that from?
