Stuck after finishing the game

Hey, I recently finished the game.
I'm now level 20, and the requirement for the next level is "Mission".
What mission are they talking about?
Ithought I might had to do a difficulty 21 mission for level 21, but that wasn't it.

And you really don't go lvl up when you make loads of cash??

No you level up by making cash after the nomad thing is over. Sometimes it decides to be weird and say you have a mission to level up but its a glitch (at least I think so). It happens to be sometimes it alternates between saying cash and "mission".

Ah ok, I'll have to beat the game again then

I've earned around 200000 credits since beating it, so I don't think I'll be able to level up that way

did you install freelancer 1.1 patch recently. because if you started the game with freelancer 1.0 and installed the patch it mucks up your saved games and causes it to say mission which is what i got and a lot of other people got by the looks of this forum. all you can do is ether start again or you can reinstall freelancer 1.0.
