It is that big building near the center of the screen. Pretty sure it has a liberty flag or some kind of advertising on it as well.

Looking to the picture once again, perhaps the building on the left edge of the screen is the Rheinland sleepership.

we knew that already... the first who came in serius was the Liberty (01AS) and had the much choice and settled in the middle, the second was the Kusari (05AS) who settled themself in the place where was the most water, in the north of serius. The 3th was Rheinland about 20 years later then kusari (what i know) and settled themself in the southeast of serius, where was the most mine-able stuff for build up a industrial empire... the bretonia came around 45AS, co'z they had a jump drive engine what doesn't worked anymore, they toke the final spot of the serius system... the hispania, drifted throught space and crashlanding in omicron alpha, was left to die... no spot anymore for them... but settled 2 colonials (outcast and corsair), 1 in the south and 1 in the north... the southern called theirself corsair, and banned the sleeper ship first... the other in the north called themself outcast and want revenge...

Very helpful post Dragon, just one minor thing I'd like to add. The Corsairs after the Hispania was sabotaged took smaller ships and tried to make it to the Sirius sector without the Hispania. They found Crete and settled on that worthless hunk of rock (why, I have no idea, probably just couldn't find anywhere else and had to land somewhere). Outcasts towed the Hispania all the way with them (I have no idea why) and had the bad fortune of arriving in the Omicron Alpha system with only one planet that could be lived on. Hence, they signed their doom. Rather sad really.

Just adding, the rumor on Malta is correct in almost all ways with the exception that there were only five sleeper ships, The Liberty, The Kusari, The Bretonia, The Rheinland and The Hispania. Damn lax testers.

The Bretonia Is destroyed actually. Its engines f00ked and it was buggered till 20 years later they hit New London... they scrapped it to make Leeds... or its just in the Queens palace

So, basically, after all this squabbling and DragonBreath's awful grammar, all we've established is that there are 2 of the original Sleeper ships in the game for you to find !?!!

(Maybe that building on Manhattan is just that; a building built to look like the Liberty Sleeper ship !?!? If so, only the Hispania is real?)

From simple logic wouldn't the only place for the sleeper ships, apart from the Hispania, which had an altered fate, be the main planets on which landing was made?
Why would you touch down in New London and send the only source of people/resources/equipment/etc. off to somewhere else. My guess is that the Liberty was preserved and used as a billboard because the Libertonians got best pick and didn't need to canabilize the ship to survive, all others would of probably gone the way of the landed sleeper ship in the opening cutscene.
As for the eight ships leaving Pluto, remember the opening cutscene, I quote "In desperation, the Alliance launched FIVE sleeper ships. The hope was for them to begin again far from the war and strife that had befallen Earth, to start free from the prejudices that had divided us for so long. Each sleeper ship was christened after its patron nation, the Bretonia, the Rheinland, the Hispania, the Kusari, the Liberty", after a short battle it goes on to say, "Against all odds the colony ships broke through the Coalition blockade and headed for the Sirius System".
This proves there were only five ships and each one made it past the Coalition.
