Single Player question

I got FL about a week ago, and I have a noob question. I'm level 24 in single player, I finished the missions and got the "Lone Star' medal, for all the good that does, and I've advanced a couple of levels since the end of the SP campaign, but I can't advance any further. It says the next level requirement is "Mission". I have a net worth of over $600,000, but i don't know what the "Mission" is.

Everytime I load my game it tells me the next level requirement is mission. It isn't really, it's credits. Just go out and make some credits and the mission requirement will disappear leaving the amount you need. I've found wreck looting is a great way and quick way to improve level between lvl 18 and lvl 33 (ish). Go hunting in Sigma 13 for a start.

If you throw enough mud ..some's gonna stick.

You're at the max level. Now you can explore the rest of sirus. You haven't really 'finished' freelancer until you have.

just reinstall the game i had the same problem and when i reinstald the game it did'nt say it anymore.........

After the game ends you must either take on regular missions from the job board or agents at the many bases throughout Sirius. You decided the path to follow in the FL universe.
