You can buy a Sabre from the outcasts on Planet Malta in Omicron Alpha. You can easily get neutral with them by bribing Liberty Rogues, Junkers or Zoners. You can bribe Lane Hackers but chances are if your unfriendly with Outcasts, Lane Hackers are likely to shoot at you.

I went to hamburg but the only ones I could bribe was the republican shipping and orbital spa and cruise lines. What do you mean with f4 f5?

If you have trouble with the right bribe showing up; save your game and then keep loading it until the desired party bribe shows up. Sometimes it seems to take awhile.

The alpha-numerics like F5 or E4 refer to the indicated base grid locations on your game map.

Can I load before I enter the bar, or do I have to leave the planet first?

I had to keep switching back and forth between the bar and the commodity sales place about 30-40 times before I could bribe my way into the Hessians.

Of course, on the way to the Hessian base, I ran into so many Corsairs that my rep went up with the Hessians even more....

so, the moral of the story is don't waste your time and money trying to bribe the Hessians, as killing Corsairs is a WAY faster way to get in good with them.

It doesnt work. Is it supposed to come up a message saying somthing like: "I can hack into the the computer system to fix youre relations with the hessians"?

The problem is that I have a humpback, because I was trading to get the money for the sabre. And without my trusty anubis its hard to defeat those pirates.

Should I buy the falcon or the banshee? Im just going to use it for a short time, to make those hessians happy.

you've got the banshee... she'll do very well for what I am about to suggest.

got to dresden and start shooting at the other 2 factions in that syustem other than the hessians. It doesn't take long to get neutral with them. Then fly around a bit and look for Hessians getting attacked and destroy thier attackers, that will put you in the good neutral side enough that the base won't turn red at random.

Hmm Hessians huh, problem is you need to make sure the faction you take missions from isnt on their hit list, try the IMG in Bretonia, Cambridge system at the Cardif mining Facility. You will get kill corsiar missions there and the Hessians hate em. Other place is Omega-7 system, Freistadt base. IMG runs it and the Hessians sometimes come there and you can get a faction bribe there. Just one thing if you are red to the hessians they hang out in Omega-7.

But in rheinland I just keep bumping into hessiams and Unioners. But Im going to try the dresden system now.

If you want the Sabre fast & easy then buy it from the Outcasts. Drive your Humpback to the Interspace Commerce depots near Planet New London, smash the two H-fuel depots (8 pods) and tractor their contents. Then smash one pod of the remaining depot and the Outcasts will stop shooting. Time taken: 30 seconds (plus travelling there, of course). If you trade well on the way to Malta then the multiplied loot profit will pay for the Sabre & more.

There are also Gateway depots near Kensington Shipping Platform (H-fuel, Mining Machinery and Consumer Goods IIRC), the Bounty Hunters have depots near Sheffield (Manchester) and Deshima (Shikoku), and there are several depots in the New York system (near Manhattan, near Baltimore Shipyard/Ft. Bush). All these depots have a good effect on the Outcasts and most have interesting loot.

Just make sure you don't smash too many depots of the same faction, because you don't want a company like Interspace or Gateway hostile. Destroying a depot pod lowers your rep with the owning faction by about one square (10%).
